The Somali and Tigray communities in Europe, together with human rights advocates and democratic forces, call upon all justice-loving people to join a peaceful demonstration against ongoing human rights violations, displacement, siege, and political repression in Ethiopia.
We stand together to demand:
- An end to genocide, displacement, and ethnic cleansing
- Justice and accountability for victims
- Protection of civilians and human rights
- Restoration of constitutional and democratic institutions
- Respect for the territorial and constitutional rights of the Somali people
- No election in occupied Somali Region – West Sitti ZoneThe Somali community will raise its voice against:
- Forced displacement of Somali civilians
- Illegal land grabbing and territorial encroachment
- Exploitation of Somali natural resources without consent
- Continued humanitarian suffering in Somali Region
- The Tigray community calls for: Reinstatement of the elected Tigray Parliament and constitutional institutions
- An end to siege and collective punishment against the people of Tigray
- Justice and accountability for atrocities committed during the war
